Blanca Garcia, LPC-Intern supervised by Betsabé Rubio, LMFT-S, LPC-S
I was born in Tamaulipas, Mexico and immigrated to the United States at the age of twelve. I obtained a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University as well as dual B.A. degrees in Psychology and Spanish from The University of Texas at Austin.
I developed a passion for working with individuals and families during my nine years as an educator for the Texas public school system.
My areas of interest include working with couples from relationship strengthening to divorce, family issues, domestic violence, life changes, child and adolescent behavior, ADHD, attachment, addiction, depression, and anxiety.
