Meet the team
Eric Powell, Ph.D., Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Powell received both his B.S. in Psychology and his Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from Saint Louis University. He has worked several years in clinical sleep medicine, possessing extensive knowledge of sleep and sleep disorders, treating behavioral sleep issues such as insomnia and PAP tolerance problems, and conducting clinical research related to sleep problems. He completed his Respecialization in Clinical Psychology training from Fielding Graduate University and recently completed his specialty fellowship training in health psychology at the South Texas Veterans Healthcare System in San Antonio. He is a licensed clinical psychologist in Texas.
Dr. Powell specializes in working with adults who are struggling with anxiety, panic disorder, depression, PTSD, stress management, insomnia, chronic pain, and other health problems using a variety of evidence-based psychotherapy approaches. He will also be offering various assessments to help provide clarity in presenting problems and offer recommendations.
He will be offering both in-person and telehealth appointments.

Randa M. Chance, LPC-Associate, LMFT-Associate supervised by Betsabé Rubio, LMFT-S, LPC-S
Randa Chance has a B.S. in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University, Virginia Beach, VA. She has also completed the Gottman Method Couples Therapy - Level 1 training. She is licensed in Texas as an LPC Intern and LMFT Associate.
Randa offers counseling for individuals, couples, families, and groups, with a focus on trauma, grief & loss, conflict resolution, communication, and coping skills, domestic violence, self-harm, stress management, anxiety, and depression. In addition to counseling, she is a frequent presenter at women’s events and facilitates biweekly psychoeducational classes for couples.

Blanca Garcia, LPC-Associate supervised by Betsabé Rubio, LMFT-S, LPC-S
Blanca Garcia obtained a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University as well as dual B.A. degrees in Psychology and Spanish from The University of Texas at Austin.
She has completed the Gottman Method Couples Therapy – Level 1 training.
Her areas of interest include working with individuals, couples, and families on issues ranging from premarital psychoeducation services, relationship strengthening, divorce, domestic violence, trauma, life transitions, child and adolescent behavior, communication issues, anger management, addiction, self-harm, depression, and anxiety.
Blanca Garcia ofrece terapia en español y se especializa en problemas entre parejas desde psicoeducación premarital, problemas de comunicación, violencia doméstica, control de la ira, adicción, cambios de vida, problemas de comportamiento, ansiedad y depresión. Blanca ha completado el entrenamiento Método de Gottman- Nivel 1 concentrado en ayudar parejas a mejorar su relación.
